Ruislip Lido Railway lido

There's more to Ruislip Lido than just our railway!

Covering around 726 acres, Ruislip Woods National Nature Reserve offers a peaceful escape for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders alike, with ancient woodland, open trails, and plenty of space to explore.

At the heart of it sits Ruislip Lido, a 60-acre lake that’s home to ducks, geese, and swans, and features a huge sandy beach stretching along its southern shore, perfect for relaxing, paddling, or a summer picnic.

Families are well catered for too, with a children’s splash pad complete with water jets, extensive playground equipment, and convenient on-site toilets and changing facilities. Best of all, access to the Lido is completely free.

And if you fancy a break from the outdoors, you can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat at the Turntable Tea Room beside Willow Lawn Station, before hopping on the charming Ruislip Lido Railway for a scenic ride through the woods.
